Infection control is a high priority in our office. Besides following current OSHA (occupation safety health administration) practices, we go a step beyond the minimum required standards by using disposable dental supplies. Our dental instruments are high heat resistant and are sterilized using the maximum heat exposure at the highest duration time. We use sterile water preventing water line contamination seen in other dental practices. We leave no room for error in eliminating all contagious viruses, bacteria, and fungi.

Our dental insurance specialist is highly trained in handling your dental insurance by staying abreast of the latest trends in dental coverage, assuring that your insurance claims are accurately submitted with photographs, quality x-rays, and narratives that increase dental insurance reimbursement. Our computer software system offers you the advantage of tracking dental insurance payments, deductibles, and remaining benefits anytime during the year with one quick phone call. Our patients comment that we go the extra mile to ensure the highest insurance payments possible.

Our patient’s enjoy the flexibility of choosing how their appointments are scheduled as well as how they prefer to be contacted. We have state of the art technology which allows each patient the opportunity to receive an e-mail, cell phone text, or verbal phone call for appointment confirmations. We offer numerous appointment time options as well as “one patient at a time” private scheduling for long appointments. This allows a quiet, serene, and comfortable setting for patients receiving multiple dental procedures at once, at no additional charge!

Our dental hygiene therapists are the highest trained in the area. In addition to the continuing education courses required by the Georgia Dental Board of Dentistry, our licensed professionals attend advanced dental hygiene course work several times per year ensuring that our treatment systems are the most current. Dental diseases are now known to affect your total health thus making advanced knowledge invaluable when treating the “whole” patient.

Our dental assisting team is derived of highly experienced dental professionals with extensive training in cosmetic, restorative, and preventive dentistry. In their role as Dr. Wilkey’s co-therapists, they assist the practice in all aspects of patient care and are the patient’s personal liaison. Our patients comment that they have their own personal assistant to help them from the first appointment through all future appointments.
